Paper Roast Dosa with Coconut chutney


Dosa Batter

1. Rice / White- 1 cup
2. Urad Dal- 1/2 cup
3. Salt- to taste
4. Water as required
5.Ghee- as required

Method:
  1. Soak white rice and urad dal for 6 to 8 hours
  2. Grind the soaked rice and dal itno a fine paste with water and leave it to rise over night for 8 to 10 hours
  3. Add salt and mix thoroughly before pouring on to the heated tava.
  4. Pour one big spoon of batter and make the biggest dosa that you can.
  5. Drizzle few drops of ghee on to the dosa and keep the dosa closed with a lid for 2 minutes until the dosa has turned golden in color.
  6. Roll the dosa in a cylindrical shape and serve either with sugar or coconut chutney.
Tips: We need the batter to be slightly think and not runny, if water is required can add while adding salt.

Coconut Chutney
  1. Grated coconut- 1/2 cup
  2. Cumin seeds- a pinch
  3. Salt- to taste
  4. Shallots- 3 numbers
  5. Green chilly- 2 numbers
Method:
  1. Grind all the ingrdients with some water and make into fine paste.
  2. Serve with idli or dosa.
