Paper Roast Dosa with Coconut chutney
Dosa Batter
1. Rice / White- 1 cup
2. Urad Dal- 1/2 cup
3. Salt- to taste
4. Water as required
5.Ghee- as required
Method:
- Soak white rice and urad dal for 6 to 8 hours
- Grind the soaked rice and dal itno a fine paste with water and leave it to rise over night for 8 to 10 hours
- Add salt and mix thoroughly before pouring on to the heated tava.
- Pour one big spoon of batter and make the biggest dosa that you can.
- Drizzle few drops of ghee on to the dosa and keep the dosa closed with a lid for 2 minutes until the dosa has turned golden in color.
- Roll the dosa in a cylindrical shape and serve either with sugar or coconut chutney.
Coconut Chutney
- Grated coconut- 1/2 cup
- Cumin seeds- a pinch
- Salt- to taste
- Shallots- 3 numbers
- Green chilly- 2 numbers
- Grind all the ingrdients with some water and make into fine paste.
- Serve with idli or dosa.
