China Grass Pudding

One of my mother's recipe. My favorite pudding.

Ingredients:
  1. China Grass( Also called Agar Agar)- 1 pkt (10gms)
  2. Condensed Milk/Milkmaid- 1 tin
  3. Fresh Milk- 2 tins (measure milk in the same tin of milkmaid)
  4. Vanila Essence/Any other preferred flavor- few drops
  5. Water- 1/2 cup
  6. Apple- 1
  7. Cherry- a dozen
Method:
  1. First boil the water and soak the china grass in it and keep aside for half hour. Make sure to tear the china grass into small bits to get it dissolved faster.
  2. In a pan boil milk and add the condensed milk, followed by the china grass dissolved in water into the mixture.
  3. Keep stirring until the milk mixture has thickened. Add vanilla essence or the flavor of your preference.
  4. Pour the mixtutre into a large glass bowland let it cool. Once it cools, then only the pudding will set.It will take couple of hours to completly cool down.
  5. Keep the pudding in fridge and just before serving decorate the pudding with aples and cherries.
Tips: To make a cocoa flavor pudding simple in 1/4 cup water mix a tsp on cocoa powder and mix with half of the mixture in a seperate bowl you can serve both vanila and cocoa pudding together. Also if you need extra creaminess can add 1/4 cup fresh cream, but it is not required. The pudding might not set of you add cream and may become too runny or soft.
