Paneer Tikka Masala
Ingredients:-
For grill:-
- Paneer cut into large pcs- 200 gm
- Onion- 1 large cut itno bite size pcs
- Capsicum-Green- 1 large cut into bite size pcs
For marination:-
- Yogurt- 1/2 cup
- Ginger garlic paste- 1/2 tsp
- Red chilly powder- 1 tsp
- Coriander powder- 1 tsp
- Lime juice- 1 tbsp
- Salt-to taste
- Garam masla- 1/2 tsp
For sauce:-
- Tomato- 3 or 4 medium pureed
- Chilly powder-1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder- a pinch
- Onion chopped- 1 medium
- Garlic chopped- 4/5 cloves
- Salt-to tatse
- Vegetable oil- 3 tbsp
- Kasuri methi (Dry fenugreek leaves)- 1/2 tsp
- Fresh coriander leaves- a few for garnish
Method:-
- Marinate the paneer capsicum and onion in the yogurt spice mixture and keep aside for 30 minutes
- Grill the marinated paneer and veggies on the pan and keep aside
- For the sauce saute' onion and garlic in oil and add he spices followed byt he tomato puree' and cook for 10 minutes covered.
- Add in the grilled paneer and veggies followed by any left over marinated yogurt mix andcook for another 5 minutes.
- Finally add the kasuri methi and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with rotis or rice as you prefer
