Dark Chocolate Cake



Ingredients:
  1. Flour- 100gms
  2. Baking Soda-1/4 tsp.
  3. Baking Powder- 1/2 tsp
  4. Cocoa Powder- 75gms
  5. Sugar Powdered-100gms
  6. Soft Unsalted Butter-100gms
  7. Egg-2 eggs whole
  8. Dark Chocolate bar- 100gm
  9. Vanilla Essence- 2 tsps.
Method:-
  1. In a bowl cream the butter with sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Now add the eggs and vanilla essence followed by the dry ingredients; that would be flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder. (Sift all dry ingredients 2 or 3 times; so as to get a light cake)
  2. Add the flour mixture in 2 or 3 times little by little.
  3. Beat each time you add an ingredient
  4. Double boil the dark chocolate bars and add it to the cake batter and beat again.
  5. Grease a cake tin with melted butter and pour the cake batter into the tin.
  6. In a over preheated at 180 degree bake the cake for 30-35 mints.
  7. Take out from the oven and let the cake cool down.
  8. Decorate as you please with powdered sugar or strawberry.
  9. If you want to dust the cake with powdered sugar please make sure that the cake has cooled down completely; otherwise the powdered sugar will just melt in the heat.
Tips:-

  1. With the given measures you can make a 500gm cake
  2. The most important thing is to use the highest quality dark chocolate and cocoa powder to ensure you get a yummy chocolate cake.
